Hi there, i am Brian, the owner and Licensed contractor of Brian Richey's Tile Work.  I have over 15 yrs of experience and have worked in homes up and down our beautiful Central Coast of California  (San Luis Obispo County).  I worked for about 7 years for a Tile Contractor out of Atascadero, Ca.  He is  the contractor who signed me off with the Contractors State License Board for proof of my years of experience as a tile setter with his company.  Since getting my C-54 Contractors License (Tile), I worked about seven years on my own.  When the economy slowed down, I went to work for Artisan as their installer.  I worked for two other companies since then, but i tend to give attention to detail and have found it to be a necessity to go back to work as an Independent Licensed Tile Contractor installer. 

I am married to my beloved wife, Kerri, and we have three children at home (Two of which are our nephews, which we have recently finished the Adoption process just before Christmas in 2012:), and one Son (a Marine who lost his leg along with other serious injuries in  Afghanistan in June of 2011).

I am a family man who enjoys spending time with Wife and children.  I am also a Potter that enjoys making pottery on the potter's wheel,... and... surfing is a sport i enjoy very much!

It is my desire and goal to treat customers the way I would want to be treated, helping you through your project step by step so you feel comfortable through the process.

The more you look at your tile, it is my goal for you to like it more and more, and not just at first glance.

As an experienced Licensed and Bonded Contractor, I am the one who does the work, and will be available for your concerns or questions on the job site and by cell phone off site.  I also have another trusted Licensed Tile Contractor friend to call in if the job is two big for one person.

I can do restoration and repair work and have the ability to renew most existing tile work, making it shine with newness again.
